Julia Parker - Wrote the Kitten Conductor narrative when she was 8 years old after riding the Brackenridge Eagle Train in Brackenridge Park. A beautiful community park in the heart of San Antonio.

There was a long standing family of cats that called the park home. Giving Julia the spark of inspiration, how could a little kitten help the kind engineer and be guide to all the children of the park.

Additionally, Julia's great grandfather, John Parker, is the inspiration for kind engineer John as he was a train engineer for the train in the 1950s.
