TTM was honored to partner with the AMVPA and host a Military Vehicle Show in both 2009 and 2010. The Alamo Military Vehicle Preservation Association is dedicated to preserving these important pieces of America's military heritage. This nation's fighting men went to war in these vehicles which now serve to remind us all of the sacrifices ordinary Americans have made to preserve the freedom not only of our own country but the whole world. Here are pictures of the shows which featured military vehicles of all types from World War One all the way to Desert Storm.

TTM has a number of significant pieces of military equipment in its huge collection of transportation equipment. We have a 1942 Air Force diesel-electric locomotive, a 1954 Army diesel-electric locomotive, a Marine rail motor-car and an Air Force tractor among many other items. With many retired military servicemen among our membership, it is not surprising that many include reminders of their service in their museum activities. A good example would be retire Marine Vic Louie, who runs military themed trains on our indoor HO layout.
