Individual donors to TTM
Few organizations in San Antonio have been as fortunate to receive support from such a broad cross section of the community. Just about everything at TTM was donated one way or another. As an all volunteer organization, literally hundreds of people have been donating their time, expertise and energy over the years. Our depot, our locomotives, our rolling stock, our road vehicles collection, our model trains layout and equipment, our library and our large collections of transportation related documents, images and artifacts have all been donated by a wide variety of individuals, companies and organizations who want to see their treasured belongings become a significant part of the the fascinating history of how transportation developments enabled the growth and developments of San Antonio and South Central Texas.

To recognize the generosity of so many people, TTM established a set of donation levels using railroad nomenclature, as follows:

  • Superintendent - donations exceed $10,000.00
  • Station Master - donations exceed $5,000
  • Conductor - donations exceed $1,000.00
  • Engineer - donations exceed $500.00
  • Fireman - donations exceed $250.00
  • Brakeman - donations exceed $100.00
