Dec 31, 2010 - Santa's Railroad Wonders Has More Visitors

"Santa's Railroad Wonderland" enjoys phenomenal growth with 2.6 times as many visitors as 2009, an increase of 3,350 people to 5,454.

Nov 30, 2010 - Eagle Scout Project

The area immediately around the museum's front gate is beautified with xeriscape landscaping as an Eagle Scout project

Oct 31, 2010 - 1st Halloween Show

TTM hosts its first ever Halloween Show which is a success right out of the box.

Oct 15, 2010 - 1942 GE 45 Ton Project Begins

The project to replace one of the damaged diesel engines on the 1942 General Electric 45 Ton switch engine begins.

Sep 30, 2010 - 2nd Annual Military Show

TTM hosts its second annual military vehicle show in partnership with the "Alamo Military Vehicle Preservation Association.

Sep 15, 2010 - ADA Ramp Built

An ADA compliant ramp allowing disabled persons to ride our train is built as an Eagle Scout project.

Aug 31, 2010 - PBS Documentary Filmed

Several sequences of a PBS documentary, "Texas Olive Trails," filmed at the museum.

Aug 31, 2010 - July and August See More Visitors

TTM attendance for these two months exceeds previous years by a considerable amount. TTM used to be almost dead during these months. Several innovative programs yielded even greater results than expected.

May 31, 2010 - New Train Schedule Released

TTM introduces new Saturday & Sunday train schedule. Service will now be every hour on the half hour beginning at 10:30 AM.

May 1, 2010 - 4th Annual Ford Model T Show

4th Annual Ford Model T Show goes well. TTM buys its first ever newspaper adverts, thanks to sponsorship of the show by the Red McCombs Automtive Group.

Apr 24, 2010 - Fiesta Parades

TTM participates in the Fiesta "Battle of Flowers" parade in partnership with the San Antonio Writing Project, and the Flambeau parade in partnership with San Antonio Special Olympics.

Mar 31, 2010 - Grounds Crew Maintains Site

Thanks to a remarkably improved financial situation at TTM, a decision is made to bring in a professional grounds maintenance crew to help maintain our 40 acre site.

Feb 28, 2010 - Caboose Restoration Started

Using the opportunity of the Party Caboose stripped to bare metal, a complete restoration program is initiated.
