The young lady in the picture is Lillian Williams, granddaughter
of T. J. Williams, the owner of the town site and the hotel,
in which she was born. The young navy man is her beau, Roland
Williams. (No relation, of course.) Roland survived the war
but he and Lillian were destined for other marital partners.
