Just two of the many military vehicles at the show
2009 was the first year for this event which is a joint project of the Texas Transportation Museum and the Alamo Military
Vehicle Preservation Association. The show featured military vehicles of all types from World War One all the way to
Desert Storm.
The Alamo Military Vehicle Preservation Association is a recently formed organization dedicated to preserving these
important pieces of America's glorious military heritage. This nation's fighting men went to war in these vehicles
which now serve to remind us all of the incredible sacirifices ordinary Americans have been willing to make to preserve
the freedom not only of our own country but the whole world.
