Texas Transportation Museum Donors

Just about everything at TTM was donated one way or another. As an all volunteer organization, literally hundreds of people have been donating their time, expertise and energy over the years. Our depot, our locomotives, our rolling stock, our road vehicles collection, our model trains layout and equipment, our library and our large collections of transportation related documents, images and artifacts have all been donated by a wide variety of individuals, companies and organizations who want to see their treasured belongings become part of the the long, fascinating history of how transportation developments have enabled the growth and developments of San Antonio and South Central Texas.

As a way to recognize the generosity of so many people, TTM established a set of donation levels using railroad nomenclature, as follows:

Superintendent, for those whose donations exceeded $10,000.00
Station Master, for those whose donations exceeded $5,000
Conductor, for those who gave $1,000.00
Engineer, for those who gave $500.00
Fireman, for those who gave $250.00
Brakeman, for those who gave $100.00

Here is the list as of May 2007. (This is still a work in progress. As we go through old records we are finding more and more names!
