This railroad toilet is actually one of the museum's most recent acquisitions.
It was recently donated through contact with the "Longhorn Chapter." It
matches the other railroad commodes in the 404 very well. In every day use,
it probably had a cover of some kind, if only because railroads were ingenious
when it came tousing every available square inch of the small space available in
each compartment, and probably aesthetics, too.
