Ford Model Ts in Castroville, TX
Texas Transportation Museum, San Antonio
Every second Friday evening of the month, there is a wonderful small town gathering of all kinds of
classic and otherwise cool cars at the square in Castroville. Admission is free. Each month the event attracts
more and more vehicles. There happened to be four nice Model Ts there in October 2007.

Castroville resident Ralph W. is a classic American tinkerer. A retired carpenter, there is little
in the way of wood and mechanical work that he cannot take care of. Among his fascinating collection of
old time machinery, which includes a gasoline powered washing machine, a hay baler that runs on
smoke and several lovingly restored tractors, Ralph has a couple of Model T hacks and a very fine
REO Speedwagon. )Yes, we know it isn't a Model T but it is such a cool vehicle we simply could
not resist sharing a few of our snaps with you!)
